Redbirds Game

On Saturday night, we all went to the Redbirds game.
I love watching them play, and looking for Rocky Redbird.
Knox enjoyed watching the game and I enjoyed playing with Daddy's buddy Si.

Some people (like Pops) call me "Little Monk" like the OCD guy on the TV show. When you see how I line up all my magnet letters, you can see why.

Knox's Nursery

Here are some pictures of Knox's nursery. It wasn't quite finished before he was born, but it is now. Mommy made the dust ruffle and she used the bumper pad from my bed and just changed the ties. She also painted his initials on some canvases. Since I am still in my crib, they had to get another one for Knox. They were so excited when they found this BEAUTIFUL sleigh crib at a garage sale for a great bargain!
Daddy and Pops painted the room a fun, bright green. It makes the room so sunny. I love to play in his room while Mommy feeds him.
The theme of the room is trucks!
Here are the curtains Mommy made.
She also repainted my changing table to match his room.

On Our Own

Well, sadly Pammy had to head back to Salem to see Gramps, and after a great weekend with my cousin Abby, it is just me, Knox and Mommy during the day. We really miss Pammy, but Mommy says she will be back before you know it. On Monday, Mommy tried to put me and Knox in the double jogger for a walk, but after all the work of getting us loaded up and out the door, she could hardly push it because the tires were all flat. I think it will be fun to have a strolling buddy once we get it fixed.
I like to open the presents that people send for Knox. I always want to put them on even though they are too small. This onesie actually fit me though.
I love to hold Knox's hand. It is so small and soft.
Are you sure we are related?

2 weeks old!

Knox went to the doctor today for his 2 week check up. The goal is to make it back to his birth weight (7 lbs, 12 ounces), and he is a whopping, 9 lbs and 3.5 ounces! What a good eater he is!
He still loves to sleep, but he is awake more and more.
I am leaving him to go visit cousin Abby this weekend, here I am kissing him goodbye!

A Day Out

On Monday, we took Knox for his first outing to Collierville. We had a fun lunch and then Honey kept me and Knox while Mommy and Pammy got some time on the town without us.
Knox just slept on the ground while we ate a yummy lunch.
Lots of people have been sending us presents. Aunt Charlie Mai sent me this fun dress. I get just as excited to get clothes as I do toys. I always have to put them on and I usually want Mommy to take my picture.

Visitors

Nanny and Pa came last week to meet Knox and spend time with me. It was so fun spending the day with them.
I wanted to sit next to Nanny at lunch
Mommy's friend Courtney brought me some fun dress up clothes and a Fancy Nancy book. I love them, and I am so cute with them on!
Thanks Courtney!

One week old!

Knox is one week old today! He is getting cuter by the day. Things are going pretty well. Pammy is staying with us to help, and that is great. He still pretty much just eats and sleeps, but every once in a while he stays awake and looks around for a little while.

I had to leave him and go to school yesterday. I was sad, but I had a good day once I got there.

Knox is home

Mommy, Daddy and Knox came home from the hospital on Saturday. I was so happy to see them. Knox pretty much sleeps all the time.
Daddy likes for him to sleep on his lap like I used to.
Here is a rare picture with his eyes open.
Those Bourland boys love to sleep!
Fresh and clean after his first bath at home. He pooped a few seconds later.
Oh yeah, my new favorite breakfast is to eat cheerios and milk in a bowl with a spoon!

Baby Brother is Here!

My baby brother is finally here! Knox Edwin Bourland is his name, Knox is Pammy's maiden name and Edwin is Pops' middle name. Mommy had a very fast labor, but she said it was a little harder than it was with me. Lots of our family and friends came to visit us at the hospital. I love baby Knox, and I want to hold him all the time. We look very different, it is hard to believe he is my brother.

Feeding the Fishies

Yesterday I went with Mommy and some of my friends to feed the fish at the botanical gardens. It was so fun! I got to see lots of fish and lots of geese. After we fed the fish, we fed ourselves with a picnic lunch.
Here fishy fishy!
Don't let me fall in mom!
Daveney, Langston, Evie, and Caroline had a fun time too!
Daveney and I waved bye bye to all the fish and geese.
