Surprise for Pammy!

Pammy retired from many years if teaching this spring. All her kids and grandkids drove up on a Friday night and surprised her.  She said it was the most surprised she had ever been!

We are so glad that Pammy will be able to spend LOTS more time with us now!

Kindergarten Wings Ceremony

 Well, Libby is 3 months into 1st grade, so I figured it was about time I got around to posting her Kindergarten Graduation.  At her school, they called it a Wings Ceremony.  The class did several performances for us.  The first was a song about the solar system.

 Libby received her wings from Mrs. Brown (their fairy godmother) and then got a big hug from Ms. Harmony, her teacher.

Pal Ella brought her baby girl to town and she, Lauren and I had a fun shopping day with our girls. A stop for yogurt was necessary.

Earth Day

Libby's school had a big Earth Day celebration. We sang songs, did "green" crafts, planted flowers and had a great picnic lunch.

Lobby went to her first rolling skating party a few weeks ago. She had a rough start but eventually got the hang of it.

Easter Downtown

This year our church had our Easter morning service Downtown at the Cannon Center. It was a wonderful service celebrating Christ's victory over sin and death! He is risen!!!

Libby's class is so fortunate to be on a college campus. They get to walk to some fun field trips. Recently we got to join her for an ice cream party over at the U of M.

Thanks to Pinterest, I found this easy recipe for sidewalk chalk paint. Libby, Knox, and their good friend Emily had a BALL painting the driveway one afternoon.
