On Friday, Mommy and Daddy took me to Jerry's Sno Cones for the first time. Daddy and I sipped our drinks from the back of the car. It was super fun!

Look Mom, No Hands!

Mommy and Daddy think this is so funny. When I am standing next to something, I like to take my hands off and see how long I can stand. As you can see, it is not for long, but I think it is pretty fun!

Growing Up So Fast!

On Tuesday, I went to the doctor for my one year appt. I still have a small body (20%) and a huge head (94%). Daddy says it is my big brain! The doctor said to try to let me use a spoon and to "expect messiness," boy was he right!

Dr. H also wants me to drink whole milk in a sippy cup, and that is going great! Mommy was so worried and afraid that I wouldn't drink enough, but she was wrong. I love milk, and I love the cup!

Cooking in Pammy's Kitchen

I am so sorry that I didn't update my blog last week, but I have been very busy. Mommy and Daddy went to Hawaii, and I got to go to Pammy and Gramps' house for the week. It was great! I totally forgot that Mommy and Daddy were even gone.
Nanny and Pa came up to see me too!

and played the guitar for me.
I made a new friend, Kiley.
Pammy showed me how to eat a banana! I love them!

These days I am into everything. Mommy turns her head for one second, and I am trying to get into the washing machine.

Mommy and I went to see my buddy Caden today, I hadn't seen him in a long time. We took turns trying to hug each other. Our Mommies think that we like each other.

The Big Day!

Today is my first birthday! I am officially one year old! I had such a fun day. My friend Griffin and I went out for my new favorite treat, ice cream! He didn't get to come to my party, so he wanted to celebrate on my real birthday with me. We had fun crusing around TCBY, and Griffin tried on my hat.

Mommy took my 12 month pictures! I am glad that I will not have to sit still for these anymore.


Mommy and I went to Target, and she let me ride in the buggy standing up!
We also went to see Daddy at work. He loves to show me off!

Tomorrow I will be one year old. This year has flown by! Here is a little look back at my first year of life.

Music for Aardvarks

Today, my good buddy Langston took me with her to her Music for Aardvarks class. It was so fun! I loved clapping, dancing, and playing with the instruments.

Today we went to see my new cousin Henry again. He is even cuter now. Virginia wanted to blow dry my hair for me. I love playing with her and Anne Wilkes.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Yesterday Daddy turned 31. It was his first birthday as a Daddy. He had a good day. He got to play golf, and then Mommy and I made him shrimp pizza on the grill and ice cream cake. He is the best daddy and I love him tons!

Swim Lessons!
This week I took swimming lessons every morning with Mrs. Brittney. It was scary sometimes, but also fun.

My buddies Langston and Caroline were in the class too. Caroline's mommy made us matching monogrammed shirts to wear when we get out of the pool.

I love the game where we swim to the toys!

Pops came to cheer me on the last day! I would much rather cuddle with him than have Mommy dunk me again!







The green duck was my favorite toy. It made me feel better when I got upset.

My New Toy!

I got a bunch of new toys for my birthday. This one is really fun. I can ride on it, push it, or pull it like a wagon. So fun.

Abby's Luau!

On Sunday, we went to Decatur to my cousin Abby's first birthday party luau. Mommy, Daddy and me all wore our Hawaiian attire to get into the spirit. To see more pics of Abby's party click on the link to her blog.

My Big Birthday Bash!
I won't be one for a week or so, but we celebrated this weekend! It was so fun. Mommy and Daddy threw me a strawberry party in honor of my strawberry blonde hair. We had strawberry cake, strawberry ice cream, and even strawberry salsa. Lots of my friends came to celebrate with me! It was great! Here is a slide show from it...
