Lunch Time!

I have been eating 3 solid meals a day for a couple weeks now. I like my yummy oatmeal and fruit at breakfast the best. I usually like lunch the least. Mommy makes me eat just veggies usually. I love to make a huge mess. I like to hear Mommy and Daddy talk and sing to me while they feed me.

7 months old!

Time is flying! On Saturday, I turned 7 months old. I celebrated my taking a trip to see my garndparents in Illinois. I was great in the long car ride, not fussing at all. Now that I am 7 months old I finally am starting to like eating, and I love to sit and play with toys. I am working on pulling up, and getting pretty good at it. Mommy is definetly my favorite person, I am pretty happy with other people until I see her. Then I always want her to hold me.

Then she cries and I have to make her feel better. Mom says we will be friends whether I like it or not.

Well, it turns out that I have my first ear infection. I kept trying to tell Mommy by rubbing my ear, but she kept thinking it was just teething. I really need to learn how to talk. It would make life much easier. Even though I am sick, I have still been in a great mood.

Happy New Year from the Bourlands!

This New Year was really fun. Mommy and Daddy left me with my first non-family member babysitter, so that they could go out to dinner and to a party with some friends. I was really good and slept the whole time. On New Year's Day we went to the Geer's house to watch football and eat ribs, and I got to play with some friends. 2006 was a big year for me, being born and all. I hope that 2007 will be even better.
