Heading East...

The first week of August we headed to East Tennessee to see family and friends.  Casen met us for some swimming at our hotel pool.  Afterwards we snuggled in our towels.
While in Knoxville we got to see our good friends the Robinsons.  We had some sweet time being with them and seeing their beautiful new home.  We know they are going to love K-town!  We went to Ham 'n Goody's with them for lunch, and I introduced Libby and Knox to their first Tea Cakes.  Safe to say, they were HUGE fans, just like me.

I think these are the first pictures of Libby's new haircut on the blog.  Mommy's attempt to "trim" it went a little shorter than I would have wanted, but we LOVE it now, and she looks so cute.  Plus it is much easier to manage.  More East Tennessee pictures coming soon...

A Big Orange Weekend

P1013557

We traveled to Knoxville last weekend, so that Daddy could get together with some of his old law school pals. We had a super fun tailgate party at the Daniels' house.

All oranged up for the game!

Our wonderful hosts, Scott and Stephanie, scored us seats in the skybox!

The experience, view, and food were amazing up there!
Especially during the hour long thunderstorm delay.

Our Big Trip to East Tennessee

Mommy, Knox and I just got back from a whirlwind tour of East Tennessee. Our first stop was at Nanny and Pa's house in Cookeville. Gramps met us there and he took me out to the neighbor's tire swing which I loved!
Next we met up with Pammy in her hometown of Athens, TN. We went to the Mayfield Dairy plant to have ice cream with Aunt Linda and Uncle Don. Knox and I got to play on the Mayfield cow. Mayfield has THE BEST ice cream.

Gramps took me on this HUGE slide at a park in Athens.
We got to meet our cousins Ethan and Hannah, they are Mommy's cousin Allison's kids. We had SO much fun together. It is sad we don't live closer. Here we are in a big group hug.
On to Knoxville, where no trip is complete without a visit with Mommy's friend Kelly and her boys. Kyle took me for a spin in his jeep.
Of course, we spent lots of time with Uncle Ben, Aunt Coco, and Casen. Casen took us to his favorite playground.

Dinner with Uncle Ben
Time for goodbyes, sad.
A quick stop at Opry Mills in Nashville, for Mommy to shop (of course) and to wear us out for the long ride home.
It worked, we were both asleep before we were even out of Nashville. What a great trip! We are worn out and ready to see our Daddy!

Knox's first trip to Knoxville

This weekend we all headed to Knoxville. Knox and I got to stay with Uncle Ben, Aunt Coco and Casen while Mommy and Daddy went to the game. Coco loved snuggling with Knox. I had fun playing with Casen's toys. We also got to see Mommy's friend Kelly and her boys, but for some reason we forgot to take pictures there.
He was so nice to share them with me.
After the game we went to Mr. Scooter's house. He and Daddy are law school buddies. I got to play with the bag game at his house.
Mr. Scooter was so nice to let us stay with him. I kept walking around his house saying, "this is so nice." Next time I hope to see Mrs. Stephanie. She was out of town.
I also made some new friends, Lily and Alexis. Their daddy, Andy, is another one of Daddy's law school friends. They were really fun to play with. Here we are after breakfast on Sunday morning.
Knox and I love Knoxville, I hope we get to come back soon.

My Trip to Knoxville Mommy and I just returned from a trip to Knoxville. I was pretty good in the car. I slept, read books, and watched Baby Einstein. I did get a little car sick at the end of the trip. I guess I get that from Mommy.
We all took baby Casen to the park, he didn't want to play with me yet, but he will soon. Gramps helped me slide.
Uncle Ben took me on the big slide with him.
There is a new grandbaby on the scene.
I don't want to share Pammy and Gramps.
Mommy is teaching me to blow my nose.
