We invited our community group from church over for a cookout last weekend. We had great weather, and thanks to Daddy's grilling skills, great food!

Well, only a month to go until I am 2, and just a few weeks after that I will be getting a baby brother. Mommy and Daddy are trying to enjoy these last few weeks of having an only child. They are teaching me so much, and I am like a little sponge. I know my shapes pretty well, I am getting better at counting, and I even know some of my letters (must be all that wheel of fortune that I watch). My favorite activity is still singing. Mommy and Daddy just laugh and laugh at me as I sing in the back seat of the car or along with Dora. Eating is still a battle. If it were up to me I would just eat hamburger buns all day and night, but Mommy and Daddy won't let me. Here is a picture of me going to the mall the other day. I wanted to carry my purse like mommy. Everyone stopped me to tell me how cute I was.

For the past two weeks, I have sat quietly and listened to the story at storytime. This is a really big deal. Usually I just sing the songs and then wander around during the story part. Mommy was really proud of me. I am not sure if you can see me, but that is me with the strawberry hair and the green bow between Mary Paige and another little boy. 
After the story, Ms Marjorie always gives us a treat, and then I get to play with my friends, like MP and Luke. I love the puzzle table!
On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me to a Kentucky Derby Party at Uncle Jim's house. It was fun, even though my horse didn't win. I had fun playing with all of Daddy's friends.
Last week I went to a daytime Redbird baseball game with some of my friends. Even though it was crowded, it was sooooo fun! Daveny and I wore our pink baseball caps!

Last week, Mommy, Daddy and I went to a park downtown for a fun cookout with lots of lawyers. I got to eat ice cream and ride on Daddy's shoulders!

I am happy to be home, it is warm here, so I got to wear my big girl night gown to sleep in for the first time. I really like it.
I helped Mommy and Daddy out by watering all the plants in the yard.
We got our new couch, finally. I really like it.
It has been a good month, and I am still changing a lot. I am becoming much more vocal. I love to sing along with my Bible songs when I am in the car, and I have learned all my colors. Last night I put my shoes on by myself for this first time, they were on the wrong feet, but that is ok. Sometimes Mommy has to help other people understand my "libby-ese." I have become very affectionate and outgoing, I love to hug everyone, and I get really sad when I have to leave my friends. Here I am eating breakfast with Dora, she is my favorite!
I love my friend Griffin. I call him gee gee! We have lots of fun together! Mom thinks this picture looks like we are going to the prom!
Let the debate begin. Mommy had this neat 4D picture of baby brother taken this week. Some people think he looks like Daddy and some people think he looks like me, what do you think? Either way I think he is pretty cute! I can't wait to meet him in a few months!
This weekend Mommy and I went to see her friends Sarah and Summer for a fun girls trip. 
I was such a good girl all weekend. This was my favorite little spot in the hotel room. A little cabinet, just big enough for me to hide in.
I loved playing with all of baby Collier's baby toys. 
Mommy and Summer threw Sarah a baby shower. I took a nap for most of it, but here I am after I woke up eating some shower snacks.
