Memorial Day Part 2

After seeing my Maddux family, we headed south to Alabama to see the Collins Clan.It was hot in Decatur, but Daddy let me wear his hat to keep me cool.

I loved getting to see Uncle Brent, he never comes to see me.

Memorial Day Weekend Part One

For the first part of this weekend, we went to see my cousin Rachel graduate from high school. I was a good girl at the ceremony. Afterwards we had lunch at her house. I loved playing with her, and Casen and Uncle Ben!

Super Tuesdays

Mommy and her friends are trying to do fun activities with us kids every Tuesday this summer. So far we have been to the park, the zoo, and back to the park again. Here Eli and I are holding hands at the zoo.

Community Group Picnic

We invited our community group from church over for a cookout last weekend. We had great weather, and thanks to Daddy's grilling skills, great food!

23 Months!

Well, only a month to go until I am 2, and just a few weeks after that I will be getting a baby brother. Mommy and Daddy are trying to enjoy these last few weeks of having an only child. They are teaching me so much, and I am like a little sponge. I know my shapes pretty well, I am getting better at counting, and I even know some of my letters (must be all that wheel of fortune that I watch). My favorite activity is still singing. Mommy and Daddy just laugh and laugh at me as I sing in the back seat of the car or along with Dora. Eating is still a battle. If it were up to me I would just eat hamburger buns all day and night, but Mommy and Daddy won't let me. Here is a picture of me going to the mall the other day. I wanted to carry my purse like mommy. Everyone stopped me to tell me how cute I was.

Storytime Milestone!

For the past two weeks, I have sat quietly and listened to the story at storytime. This is a really big deal. Usually I just sing the songs and then wander around during the story part. Mommy was really proud of me. I am not sure if you can see me, but that is me with the strawberry hair and the green bow between Mary Paige and another little boy.

After the story, Ms Marjorie always gives us a treat, and then I get to play with my friends, like MP and Luke. I love the puzzle table!

Derby Party

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me to a Kentucky Derby Party at Uncle Jim's house. It was fun, even though my horse didn't win. I had fun playing with all of Daddy's friends.

Redbirds Game

Last week I went to a daytime Redbird baseball game with some of my friends. Even though it was crowded, it was sooooo fun! Daveny and I wore our pink baseball caps!

Baby Louise came with us and she is so cute!

Downtown Fun!

Last week, Mommy, Daddy and I went to a park downtown for a fun cookout with lots of lawyers. I got to eat ice cream and ride on Daddy's shoulders!
